Bill Gates Makes For A Pretty Decent Cartoon

You’ve probably already heard about the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a gigantic charitable organization that “focuses on improving people’s health and giving them the chance to lift themselves out of extreme hunger and poverty.” Take a look at their fact sheet for more information about the foundation’s work.

The foundation places an enormous importance on the use of vaccines. This isn’t surprising: Vaccines are one of the most effective health interventions in human history. But what exactly is the Gates foundation hoping to accomplish by funding vaccination? And why does Bill Gates make for such an appealing cartoon?
